My Story
It all started with a Cream Tulip lampshade warmer and a bar of Shimmer in 2014 and I instantly fell in love with Scentsy and was a devoted customer for 2 1/2 years.... 2 AND A HALF YEARS of buying allll the warmers, wax, washer whiffs, counter clean, and Scentsy fresh...
Then came 2016.. I was a special education teacher who was moving back to Wilmington from Greenville (GO PIRATES) and found myself with no income coming in during the summer time. Was I going to go back to waiting tables? Was I going to nanny? Then it hit me- why don't I try out this Scentsy thing? I had watched my friend over the years and saw her traveling the world and changing her life because of it... why not me?
In April 2016, I logged onto my friends website and pressed that terrifying JOIN button- and THAT WAS ALL SHE WROTE. I quickly fell in love with the products even more (I even got my first diffuser for FREE with my launch product with all of the host credits I earned- YESSSS). I earned a trip to NYC for free, then Punta Cana for free... ALL BECAUSE OF SOME SMELL GOODS.
Fast forward through the years, I continued my Scentsy business while teaching special education full time in Wilmington. I married the love of my life in 2020 in my parents backyard (THANKS TO THE C WORD- don't worry.. it was perfect) and actually hit the very top of the company in the same month. WHAT A FREAKING DREAM.
But, the real kicker- in August 2021, I was able to make a phone call and WALK AWAY FROM TEACHING BECAUSE OF SCENTSY. Because of Scentsy. I found out 2 weeks later I was pregnant with my son and here I am in 2024 with a perfect little boy and I never have to miss a moment with him because of my Scentsy business. WHAT A BLESSING.
